Parenting Tip – You should teach children to get their license before they turn 18. I am hearing more and more students today are arriving at College & University ill-prepared for very basic skills in life. This is not all of our kids but it does seem to be a growing number of them. We as parents need to take leadership in helping prepare our kids for life and their future. This video talks about how we need to take leadership in helping encourage our kids to get their driver’s licenses before they are 18. We are seeing statistics of students getting their licenses decreasing year after year. I think we need to encourage them to get their license before they are graduate. We must make sure that they are not getting their license due to our fear-based parenting.
