End of Year Giving 2025 – Thanks for your support

As we head to the end of 2025 we could use your help here at Worlds Apart. As a small charity, our funds come from 3 sources

40% – speaking engagement honorariums
40% – tax receiptable donations/fundraising
20% – sales of books, digital products (courses)

We teach our kids to ask for help when they need it, and as we watch them mature, we remind them, “If you ever need anything, just ask.” As adults, though, when we need help ourselves, we rarely ask for it. This is certainly true of me in my own life. For years, people have said to me, “If you ever want to do something and cannot afford it, just ask”. So let me be very clear: Now, I am asking. I really need your help.

I have been the Executive Director of Worlds Apart since 1997. In fact, back in 2005, I left my teaching job to go into this ministry full-time. To this day, my passion to see parents, leaders and students connect their ancient faith with their modern world motivates me to find better ways to bridge this gap.

Presently, there are several projects that I can use your help with:

1. Reprinting: Parenting: Navigating Everything – $5k needed
   We’ve sold out of the 5th printing! A $5k donation will allow us to print more and generate around $14,000 in sales to fund future ministry work.
2. Technology Upgrades – $2.5k needed – My 2015 iPad and aging Mac Mini need replacing — essential tools for my speaking, writing, and content creation.
3. Mental Health: Navigating Everything – $3k needed
   Funds will go toward research and development for a new talk addressing mental health and faith.
4. New App – $2k needed
   This app will allow me to poll live audiences and provide churches, schools, and camps with real-time data on issues like parenting, media, and mental health.

Ongoing Support
We’re also looking for 50 people to give $120/year (just $10/month) to sustain Worlds Apart’s work. Your support helps me continue speaking across Canada to tens of thousands each year.
