Fundraising Spring/Summer 2026 – Thanks for your support

As we head to the Spring and Summer of 2026 we could use your help here at Worlds Apart. As a small charity, our funds come from 3 sources

40% – speaking engagement honorariums
40% – tax receiptable donations/fundraising (We are a Canadian not-for-profit)
20% – sales of books, digital products (courses)

We teach our kids to ask for help when they need it, and as we watch them mature, we remind them, “If you ever need anything, just ask.” As adults, though, when we need help ourselves, we rarely ask for it. This is certainly true of me in my own life. For years, people have said to me, “If you ever want to do something and cannot afford it, just ask”. So let me be very clear: Now, I am asking. I really need your help.

I have been the Executive Director of Worlds Apart since 1997. In fact, back in 2005, I left my teaching job to go into this ministry full-time. To this day, my passion to see parents, leaders and students connect their ancient faith with their modern world motivates me to find better ways to bridge this gap.

Presently, there are several projects that I can use your help with:

1. Reprinting – Parenting: Navigating Everything. Needed 5k. It is so encouraging to be selling out the 5th printing of my book Parenting: Navigating Everything. This comes with the struggle of trying to find the funds to print more copies. This is an interesting donation as the donation of 5k will offer the charity to make around 14k when the books are sold.
2. Technology – Needed 3k. I am currently using an iPad from 2015 and a iphone which is now 6 years old. It is not an exciting need but the core of work that I do.
3. New Book – Control the Controllables: Mental Health. Needed 3k. This will help with research, writing, editing and graphics needed for this new book.
4. Website Upgrades – Needed 2k – looking to upgrade a few sections of my website. Needing graphic design and website development support.

Ongoing Support
We’re also looking for 20 people to give $120/year (just $10/month) to sustain Worlds Apart’s work. Your support helps me continue speaking across Canada to tens of thousands each year.

1. I recently added a link (top of brettullman.com with social media buttons) to all the book suggestions I have on my Amazon shop. Any purchases made on Amazon help the charity.
2. If you have read my book, Parenting: Navigating Everything, an Amazon review would be appreciated.
3. You could also purchase a copy of my courses on parenting, media, men, or marriage for $20 to watch with your family. You can find this on the course button at the top of my website.
