COVID-19 & Mental Health: Video #16 – things we miss jar | PArenting tip

Things we miss Jar is an easy idea to implement in your home. This is video #16 in a series I am doing on how how to have good mental health during this COVID-19 season we find ourselves in. The goal is to provide you with daily, simple, reproducible ways you can help your own mental health. Today I want to encourage you to start something like a gratitude jar, but different. I am calling it a “things we miss” jar.

If you did not make one of these during the covid season you could start at any time and put into the jar all the things your kids (or you) missed out on doing covid. Looking forward to this next year you could work at doing all of the things you put into the jar. Sort of a redemption year to reclaim the things you missed.

I did another video on a similar idea How to start a gratitude jar for your family | Raise grateful kids. Click here for the video.

I do talk about this idea and other parenting ideas in my book Parenting: Navigating Everything. Click here for more information.
