To the Toronto Blue Jays … Thanks!

To the Toronto Blue Jays … Thanks!

I am writing this as Game 5 (Blue Jays vs Royals) is just about to begin. No matter the outcome today I wanted to say thanks.

Thanks to Alex Anthopoulos for putting together an amazing group of players for this years Blue Jays.
Thanks to the players for giving us a 1st place in the American League East.
Thanks for the ALDS Championship win against Texas.
Thanks for the game 5 against Texas. The most exciting baseball I may have seen in my life. The 7th inning I will never forget.
Thanks to KevinPillar for the never ending diving catches this season. Gold Glove for sure!
Thanks to Jose Bautista for flipping the bat.
Thanks to Edwin for the game my son Ben and I attended where the Jays won 15-1 against the Detroit Tigers with him hitting 3 home runs including a Grand Slam.
Thanks to Josh Donaldson for making bare-handed plays night after night and throws like a bullet to first base. MVP!
Thanks to Tulo and Goins for amazing plays at second and shortstop every game you play.
Thanks to Colabello and Smoak for both playing stellar 1st base through the playoffs.
Thanks to the awesome lead off hitting of Ben Revere night after night.
Thanks to both Russel Martin and Dioner Navarro for amazing catching.
Thanks to the entire list of starters (Price, R.A. Dickey, Estrada etc) and bullpen (Cecil, Henricks, Loup, Osuna, Sanchez etc) for all the games you kept the Jays in the game.
Thanks to all the other players I have not mentioned who are ready to fill any roles when needed.
Thanks to John Gibbons and the entire coaching staff of the Jays.
Thanks to Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler. I did not know how much I enjoyed your announcing until we had to listen to MLB announcers in Texas and Kansas City.
Thanks to the fans. Both long time fans and recent fans. This season has been the most fun in as long as I can remember. I loved hearing chants of “Go Jays Go” at Yankee stadium.
Thanks to the Jays for baseball that has meaning in Aug and Sept.
Thanks for the Jays for an amazing run in Oct.

No matter what happens today … thanks.

Hoping for a win and continued playoffs.

Either way cannot wait for next year.
