I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Brett speak to students and parents several times, and he never disappoints.  His approach is realistic and straightforward.  He does the leg work in assessing media with a critical eye and from a biblical viewpoint.  He marries the current trends in media, faith and culture in a way that actively engages students visually, auditorily, spiritually and emotionally , without judgment.  His references to his own life experiences make him easily approachable and this help him to connect with students on a very human level.  He encourages open and honest dialogue among parents and teens.  He inspires young people to leave a legacy of service, respect and commitment to themselves and others.  I would recommend this to anyone who needs the confidence to challenge the so-called norms in today's media and to gain an increased awareness of the influences and sensitive issues that surround us.
