My friends are dating. Some of them are going too far, I think.
My parents tell me to wait, but how long do I have to wait?
How far is too far? Does the Bible say there's just one person for me?
How far can I go without regretting it later?

The divorce rate is over 50% in western culture; this statistic is no longer a shocker. More disturbing than this reality, however, is the ease with which culture seems to have absorbed this trend. Incomes are being split, families are being divided and children are asked to choose which parent they want to live with. This presentation, intended for those dating age, begins the discussion on the concept of dating. Addressing many of the tough issues facing young people today. Brett explores the concepts of culture, sex and money and how these issues relate to Christian dating in the 21st century world.

Brett was extremely well received at our first Girl Stuff conference, where he spoke to just over 60 girls/women of various ages from 12 - 80? This was very insightful for everyone, and extremely challenging spiritually as well. Brett was very well informed, and knowledgeable about the things he was talking about. We had a high school guidance department head present at the talk that was very impressed with Brett's talk. I have had nothing but positive feedback from people, who just want him to come back and talk to the rest of our congregation !! It was great. Thanks so much Brett.

We recently had Brett Ullman give his media.faith.culture talk at our Sunday morning service and the talk was hard-hitting and difficult to hear at points, yet the response was overwhelmingly positive.  People of all ages were both challenged and encouraged to be the disciples of Jesus that we are all called to be.  Rarely have I heard such a clear call to be the people who God has created us to be, from both a cultural and Biblical perspective.  For anyone who wants to be both challenged and encouraged in what it means to be a follower of Jesus as a parent, grandparent or young person, I recommend that you to find a place to hear Brett speak.

We invited Brett to speak to our students and parents on faith, media, and culture. The talk with the students really challenged them to think about how they personally connect media (what movies they watch and what songs they listen to) with their faith. He asked some hard questions and, judging from feedback from some parents, he connected with them because they came home and discussed these things with their parents.

Later that evening, Brett spoke to the parents on the same topic. Again, he challenged them to connect with their children and guide them into make good decisions about their walk of faith.

Brett spoke with passion and with conviction. The best part was that he didn't just leave us hanging - he gave several practical suggestions on how to move forward.

Our parent community had the pleasure of listening to an eye opening, powerful Media, Faith and Culture presentation by Brett Ullman. This engaging, dynamic speaker shows that he knows what he is talking about, based on his research and own life experiences. He is very motivational and engaged parents right from the get go. Brett took parents on a realistic and relevant journey that challenged the way we raise our children in today’s media-twisted society rather than through our faith and spirituality. The straightforward, hard facts were presented in a unique, powerful approach that informed and educated parents. We will never see the internet, listen to music, go to the movies or watch TV the same way again. Brett made us rethink our roles as parents, teachers, leaders and mentors to our children. Brett focused and encouraged parents to get our families back to an honest state of what is really important and how we should be living our faith based lives, rather than what the influence of various media forms and society are portraying as important. Brett Ullman is highly recommended if you have the opportunity to listen to him. Worth every dollar!

Recently we had Brett Ullman at our school for his media.faith.culture presentation.  It was fabulous!  For 85 minutes he had a captive audience of 500 grade seven to twelve students. Rarely will our students be captivated for 30 minutes let alone 85. I had numerous students and parents comment that "This was the best speaker we have ever had". The message was powerful and the impact substantial. We are already making plans for Part II next year.
